Halloween Carnival

Mardi Gras Halloween Carnival

October 22, 2016

3-9 P.M.

This year’s Halloween Carnival is going to be the best ever! We’ll have 11 inflatables, 14 game booths, 4 food trucks, 5 food booths, our infamous Cake Walk, Bake Sale, Ultra Zone, Caricature Artist, iPic photo booth, and so much more. Not to mention the…

In lieu of our Haunted House, we have created a much more inviting opportunity for the entire school to get involved. Imagine eliminating the scare factor of our previous Haunted House and creating a Village in which families can build, assemble, or purchase a “pop up” miniature “house” of their own liking. Picture being able to hold your child’s hand, and walk them along the pathway of our homemade village, created by our wonderful families here at SOEC. Your child will have the opportunity to knock on doors (of some larger houses) or just approach some smaller homes… all for a treat. Maybe candy, perhaps a small toy or gift. This is a fantastic new idea created by parents here at SOEC. We are excited for this new adventure.

If you are interested in donating a miniature house for our Trick or Treat Village or have any questions, please contact Geraldine Colon at liwevents@gmail.com for details. Only a limited number of houses are available, so this is first come, first serve.

If you would like to participate in assembling, decorating and setting up our Village, contact Sean Larkin at sean@moorparkstreetent.com

This is the time of the year where we reach out to you and beg…   Will you please sign up to volunteer to help at this year’s Halloween Carnival? As you may well know, it takes a “crew” of over 250 people to run the carnival the night of. That includes the 20 people for morning set-up, the 20 people for Friday night set-up, and the (much needed) Trick or Treat Village decorators.

To sign up to sell t-shirts and packages afterschool, set-up on Friday afternoon before the event, set-up Saturday am, volunteer in a game booth or inflatable, or help with the most important job… CLEAN UP on Sunday am, click the link below.
